Publication Ethics & Malpractice Standard

The Journals of Global Institute for Research & Education (GIFRE) firmly complies with the moral justice and ethics. Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement is based, in large part, on the guidelines and standards developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) ( The journal guarantees that reproducing or promoting does not impact the decision of the editors.

Authors’ Responsibilities

An author is likely to be answerable for the presented data and information in their relevant article along with taking the responsibility of the consequence. The authors are likely to present authentic original outcome of their research, and a suitable and significant citation should be considered while representing the data and documenting the discussion. Authors must provide information which is clear and reproducible. Supporting information such as figures and tables provided by the authors should be clear and must be reproducible technically.

An author should not replicate any preceding research data themselves or anyone else while submitting a new manuscript for a primary publication in any of the journal. Before submitting any manuscript, authors should check the range of the journal and in case of any query contact to the Editorial office.

Authors should firmly stick to the authorship criteria. Any person to be considered as an author of a manuscript must have contributed in any of the following ways: designed the study, carried out the study or performed the experiments, have analyzed the data, supported in documenting and drawing the conclusion, spearheaded the project as a principal investigator. It is compulsory to include everyone who made a noteworthy contribution towards the completion of the research job.

Any financial or personal concern that preside over the findings or research in the articles along with the details of financial assistance and its sources should be mentioned. Through the submission of an article shows authors agreeing that the article neither is under consideration nor published in any other journal.

Responsibilities of Editor and Editorial Board

Editors have an accountability to keep the honesty of the published text. Editor must comply with the policy provided by the publisher and fulfill the responsibilities bestowed upon with honesty.

The editor has ultimate responsibility for deciding if a manuscript submitted to journal should be published as per the journal’s determined policies. The Editor may discuss with the Associate Editor and other members of the editorial team in making publication decisions.

The editors will evaluate manuscripts content without regard to the race, gender, color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, citizenship, ethnic origin, or political philosophy of the author(s). They will not reveal any information about a document under consideration to anyone other than the author(s), reviewers and potential reviewers, and in some cases the journal editorial board members, as suitable. Moreover, the editors will make every attempt to make sure the integrity of the blind review procedure by not revealing the uniqueness of the author(s) of a manuscript to the reviewers of that manuscript, and vice versa.

Review process: Editors are responsible for observing and ensuring the timeliness, fairness, thoroughness, and civility of the peer-review editorial process.

Timely suggestion to the respective journals for covering relevant and significant topic by the Editor is essential for the growth of the journal.

Towards Scientific Community and Readers

  • To ensure that the content or author information is legible.
  • To assess all manuscripts such that they fall within the range of the journal.
  • Maintain the journals internal honesty.
  • Helping the publisher to disseminate Journal information among the academic fraternity.

Journal Role

Decision-Making: He/she is allowed to carry out decision-making in discussion with reviewers or members of the editorial board.

Impartiality: An Editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without any bias towards race, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic origin, religious belief, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality: The Editor or any Editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate depending on the need and stage of processing

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Competence: Reviewer must be fair during completing the review. The reviewer should feel responsible and may refuse the review as it is supposed that reviewer will be an expert in the respective field.

Confidentiality: Reviewers should not share any type of information to the outsiders without the prior permission from the Editor or protect the data of an assigned manuscript.

Constructive review: Reviewer must appreciate positive aspects of the work and identify the negative aspects fruitfully. A reviewer should clarify and support his or her decision clearly so that editors and authors can understand the basis of the remarks, if any. A reviewer should not use any kind of insulting language while commenting on a manuscript. Judgment of each manuscript should be done without any bias and personal interest.

Impartiality and Integrity: Reviewer’s decision should exclusively depend on merit, scope of the journal, significance to the subject, rather than financial, ethnic origin, racial etc., of the authors.

Disclosure of conflict of interest: To the extent possible, the reviewer should minimize the conflict of interest. In such condition, reviewer should inform the editor describing the conflict of interest.

Timeliness and responsiveness: Reviewers should morally abide to offer the review comments within the set time and be active enough in responding to the queries raised by the editor, if any.

    GIFRE Journals take the responsibility to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record of the content for all end users very seriously. Editors should follow the COPE guidelines on retractions.
